Shanghai International Model United Nations Conference 2023 (SIMUN 2023) will be held in Shanghai from November 30th to December 3rd, hosted by Shanghai International Studies University Model United Nations Association (SISUMUNA). This will be the 13th Shanghai International Model United Nations Conference.

Since its establishment in 2006. SISUMUNA United Nations culture and devoting itself
activities nationwide. With academic preciseness as its first priority, Shanghai Model UN Association continues to ameliorate its activities; with its individual-oriented and heart-to-heart approach, it continues to improve its work, and has become a studentassociation with definite influence both on and off campus. SIMUN has alsodeveloped into one of the unique, influential and widely acclaimed MUN events in China.

In addition to the three committees using Chinese or English as the working languages, we creatively set the committee with French. This design is greatly influenced by SISU's idea of "language+" and the multilingual environment there. The conference will offer practical opportunities and better participation experiences for students from other universities, especially universities specializing ininternational and foreign language studies. In response to the academic requirementsof this conference, the topics of the four committees are currently global hot-spotissues and worth deliberating.

“Academic, Accountable, Aspirational, Authentic” is the belief that ever SISUMUNer undoubtingly adheres to. Led by this principle, SIMUN 2023 will alsosimulate the real UN conference operation for all delegates, and strive for excellence to bring asuccessful, wonderful and unforgettable Model UN General Assembly for all participants.
